Terms and conditions · Privacy policy
1. Who this applies to
This Acceptable use policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who accesses or uses Everyday Marketplace(the "Service") operated by IAMPresenting("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to follow this AUP in addition to our Terms and conditions.
2. What we allow
Everyday Marketplace is intended for lawful discovery and booking of rentals between users (for example equipment and related listings offered in compliance with law). You must act honestly, respect other users, and use payments and messaging features only as intended by the Service.
3. Prohibited listings and rentals
You must not list, offer, request, or facilitate:
- items or activities that are illegal in the relevant jurisdiction (including where the item is located, picked up, or used);
- stolen, counterfeit, or infringing goods, or goods you do not have the right to rent or advertise;
- inherently unsafe listings without truthful disclosures and lawful safeguards required for that category (for example missing critical safety information or misrepresenting certifications);
- weapons, controlled substances, adult services, or other categories we restrict or prohibit by notice in the Service from time to time;
- bait-and-switch schemes, fake listings, or inventory that does not exist or is not genuinely available as represented.
4. Prohibited behaviour
You must not:
- harass, threaten, discriminate against, stalk, or defraud other users;
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity, affiliation, qualifications, insurance, licensing, or authority;
- manipulate reviews, rankings, pricing, or disputes through fake accounts, coordinated abuse, or deceptive practices;
- spam users, scrape or harvest data at scale, introduce malware, or probe or bypass security controls without permission;
- use the Service for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or other financial crime;
- upload unlawful content, malware, or content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights.
5. Payments and fee avoidance
Where the Service supports checkout through approved payment flows, you must not solicit or complete transactions in ways intended to circumvent legitimate fees, protections, records, tax obligations, or dispute workflows, unless we expressly permit an alternative flow in writing for a specific programme or jurisdiction.
6. Safety and handover
Owners and renters are responsible for safe handover, lawful use, permits where required, and honest reporting of damage or incidents. If you become aware of an imminent safety risk, contact emergency services where appropriate and notify us through Support.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations, request information, remove content, cancel bookings, restrict payouts, suspend or terminate accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement or regulators where required or reasonably appropriate. We may take action even if a dispute between users is unresolved.
8. Reporting
To report a concern, use Support with relevant booking references, user handles where visible, dates, and evidence such as photos or screenshots where safe and lawful to share.
9. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time by posting a revised version with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP to the extent permitted by law.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy should be directed through Support.
